Standing Up for the Czech Railway Industry
In April, PROFIŽEL, VRT CZ, and SPS jointly submitted an official letter to Minister of Transport Ivan Bednárik and other key government representatives, including the Prime Minister and the leadership of the Ministries of Finance, Interior, and Defence. Our objective is to protect the interests of the Czech railway industry at a time when significant changes are being prepared in public procurement and in the operation of the Railway Administration.
We seek to ensure that Czech companies are not placed at a disadvantage in their own domestic market and that the state actively utilizes the unique expertise and know-how that have been built in the Czech Republic over generations.
We firmly believe that open dialogue and a coordinated approach are the best way to maintain a strong, competitive, and innovative Czech railway industry.
